Weld Tech was founded by Kenny Weld in 1988 to develop and market a totally new concept in the way cylinder heads are modified for performance. A process which accurately and consistently machines the intake runners, exhaust runners and combustion chambers using a multi-axis C.N.C. milling machine.

Weld Tech has aligned itself with world class port designers. They are contracted, for compensation, to develop a port shape designed to meet the needs of specific applications. We are then able to exactly duplicate that shape. We DO NOT copy port designs from other developers or head porters WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION.

Weld Tech was the first to completely overcome all the obstacles and bring the first "totally machine ported" cylinder head to the high performance motor sports industry. Our finished product requires virtually none of the traditional grinding and polishing that is done by hand. With our multi-axis C.N.C. machining center we are able to reproduce exact port shapes from one cylinder to the next. This process we've developed has proven to be the ONLY way a port can be exactly duplicated from one cylinder to the next.
