The NEAL 2 port uses a biased, asymmetrical
design to improve the mechanical efficiency of the fuel presentation
into the cylinder. Adding to increased power this also increases engine
acceleration.
Airflow improvements, by the customer, will result in increased
performance and acceleration as long as the key port shapes are
not changed. This result can be obtained with valve seat work, which
is matched to the specific application (i.e. restricted or qualifying
engines).
Given the numerous engine/manifold combinations being run today,
a generic camshaft lobe may not deliver the power this design can
obtain. This port generally requires a smaller rocker ratio when
used with cams demanding high ratios.
The chamber is of conventional design with improvements to increase
fuel efficiency. It incorporates an enhanced radial quench area
supplemented with improvements to minimize fuel loss through the
exhaust.
